BTCCSquare news:

Russian oil supplies to China dropped 7.6% year-on-year in the first seven months of 2025, totaling 57.71 million tons, according to Chinese customs data. The value of these imports plummeted even further, down 21.3% to $29.48 billion.

A temporary recovery emerged in July, with shipments rising 4.2% month-over-month to 8.7 million tons. The rebound extended to import values, which climbed 9.2% to $4.31 billion.

The fluctuation follows shifting global trade patterns after the U.S. imposed tariffs on Indian purchases of Russian crude. China, while facing similar threats, continues to import Urals crude—with Bloomberg reporting a NEAR doubling of August volumes compared to the 2025 average.
